Show & Tell Themes for 2011-2012

Each month our members are invited to bring something to the meeting they have made.  They explain how it was made, the materials and finish used.  This is a great opportunity for the members to learn more about the other members and woodworking techniques.



January - Route 66

- Wood Spinners Delight
                   
Scroll sawn projects


March
  - The WBC - Woodworking Bowling Competition
                                 Bowles of all types - turned, routed, carved, sawn-any way, any how.
                          Competiton in two caragoies: turned bowls and other methods.


April - It's a puzzlement!

                            Puzzles, toys, games, doodads and hoohickeys


May
- Now, this is for the birds!
          Anything that relates to birds or wild life.


June
- How did that TURN out?
                          Projects from your lathe


July - Baby, it's hot outside!

                      Too hot for the Shop?  Bring in one of your oldest projects.


August
- House Beautiful
                     Furniture and household projects


September - Time to wheel and deal
                        If it has wheels - Bring it!


October
- Strike up the band!
              Bring something done using your band saw.




November - Annual Toy Drive
                        Time to bring them in.  This is the highlight of the year.
                    Be sure to come even if you have not been able to make toys this year.



December -
Party Tilme!!
 
                     
    Christmas and Holiday items.  Also, it's party
time!
